Nestled in a picturesque town adorned with a working windmill and rich history, our family retreat at 1851 was a delightful blend of antiquity and contemporary charm. The warm welcome enveloped us, though my little one, just under 2 years old, found endless joy discovering the nooks and crannies of our spacious, modern room. While the absence of a toilet door raised some eyebrows, the inclusive atmosphere made it feel like home. We immersed ourselves in the area's cycling culture, taking advantage of the convenient bike hire and exploring the scenic surroundings. The slow-paced yet delectable evening meal brought us all together, savoring each moment, creating everlasting memories. A spot where family ties are reinforced, 1851 is a gem worth revisiting and recommending with joy.
